Lead Times, T&Cs & Non Returns Policy

Refunds

Blake Ida is a made-to-order/ made-to-measure label, so when you place an order it will be made especially for you skilfully in our London studio. Due to the bespoke nature of the label we cannot offer returns or refunds. 

A deposit is required to secure your booking with us. Please note that all deposits are non refundable and by paying your deposit you confirm that you have understood and agreed this. 

Payment 

The payment breakdown for bespoke items is as follows:

  • Non refundable deposit of 50% of the quote for your style
  • Balance of 50% due before collection of finished garment. 

(These payments are separate from the fabric invoice since we do not charge a mark up on fabric and the client pays trade price for what is used).

Further details are included in the e mail when you receive the quote for your bespoke garment. 

Collection styles are paid in full when you place your order. 

Lead Times 

Lead times vary but are roughly as follows:-

  • Made To Measure- Six Months from placing order
  • Full Bespoke- Six to Nine Months from placing order

Silk and Fabric Articles 

Shades of silk and fabric articles vary from batch to batch as a result of factory dyeing processes. For this reason, your dress might not be identical to the sample garment you tried on. 

Design and Sketch Work

Sketch work is not refundable under any circumstances (including if you decide not to proceed) and is not on account should you choose to proceed. 

Design work is on account, so if you decide to go ahead with one of the designs, the cost of that design work comes off the total cost of your dress.  Please note this only applies if you go ahead with one of the designs and not a different Blake Ida style.
